Travel Supports

The ICMCF Local Organizing Committee is accepting nominations for Graduate Student/Postdoc Travel Support for the upcoming meeting in Toulon from 19 – 24  June 2016.
If you are interested please send an email to the Secretariat: icmcf@univ-tln.fr
Please include the following information for consideration:
1) Poster or Oral Title,
2) A 1 page CV/ resume briefly describing your academic achievements eg. Name, Institution, Position (graduate student / postdoc and year at that level) and any previous presentations/publications,
3) A recommendation letter from your research advisor. Your advisor may also send an email recommendation directly to icmcf@univ-tln.fr
Nominations will be accepted until March 31, 2016.
Results of award will be announced by email sent to all applicants at the beginning of April 2016.
Please note that the Travel Awards provide only partial assistance and will not cover the entire cost of your travel. The Awards will be disbursed to you on your arrival at the Congress. As such, you are encouraged to proceed with registration and payment for the Congress as soon as possible.
Students and young researchers that have gained their PhD within the past 3 years will be eligible.

Prizes

The best oral presentation prize for students will be sponsored by Biofouling, Taylor & Francis.
The best oral presentation prize for young researchers will be sponsored by Biointerphases, AVS.
An oral presentation prize for innovation in marine biotechnology will be sponsored by the European Society for Marine Biotechnology (ESMB).
The best poster prize for students will be sponsored by Journal of Marine Science and Engineering, MDPI.
The best poster prize for young researchers will be sponsored by Biointerphases, AVS.GBIF
