Sunday, June 19 – Welcome Reception & Registration
The Welcome Reception will be held at Le Musée National de la Marine from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The Museum is located Place Monsenergue, on the right side of the Toulon Harbour. Tucked away behind the monumental door built in 1738, the “Musée National de la Marine” offers a fitting tribute to Mediterranean maritime traditions through an exceptional collection of model vessels and galleys.
Monday, June 20 (for students and young researchers)
A special event “Pizzas on the beach at Le Mourillon” is organized for students and young researchers (up to 3 years after PhD).
Departure from Palais Neptune (congress venue) by bus at 7:00 pm.
Food and transportation offered by the 18th ICMCF committee.

1 – Visit of Bandol wineries and medieval village of Le Castellet

Domaine Souviou is a beautiful 15th century chateau surrounded by 75 hectares of vineyard and thousand year-old olive trees millennia on terraces.
2 – Visit of Porquerolles Island (Click here)

Boat departure: 1 pm, return 6 pm at Toulon harbour, 3h on-the-spot.
Free activities: beaches, walking trails.
Activities fees not included:
- Cycling trails (~12 €). A member of the organizing committee will accompany you if you wish.
- Water sports (~20 €)
- Wineries visit (~10 €)
3 – Kayaking and paddling along the coast
20 places available – First come, first served.
Bus departure: 1 pm, return at 6 pm Congress Building venue
Supervised sea kayaking and paddling.
